Play and win

June 4, 2008

I really enjoy this site, there are some really good games on here from snakes and ladders to card games .
When you play the games you get tokens which you can then exchange them for jackpot cash prizes.
The cash amounts can be very high and sometimes over a grand!
You can also make your own rooms up if you just want to play against your friends.
Its safe for children as you can block mail and the chat bit which is on nearly all the games.

Everyday you get five scratch cards which you can get more tokens and win some cash which is about ten pound.
This site can be addictive so be warned lol!!

Cash back sites

June 3, 2008

If you do a lot of online shopping and at the same time want to make some money try the cash back sites.

When you buy from the links on these sites then you are given a percentage back, it may not be a lot but it is something.

I joined the GMTV one and in a month already made forty four pound by opening a saving bank account, getting my car insurance which ended up being the cheapest about, filling in a couple of suveys and buying from Ebay, it soon mounts up.

There are loads of shopping places on them from normal high street shops to the internet shops.

They pay out once a month so you can get a nice earner and you can treat yourself.

I didn’t believe it at first as you never get nothing for nothing but how it works is when you go online shopping the the retailers then pays you commission for buying from them.

“Why do they pay out?

Cashback sites take advantage of the way commercial payments from one website to another work. They simply list product providers and retailers, and when you click through to these websites, they get paid for ‘providing leads’; in a similar, but not identical way to how most web-adverts usually work. Yet with a cashback site, when you’re logged in, the revenue raised from your click is attributed to you so the site can pay you some or all of the money it receives.

The technology’s rather simple: ready-made paying links are available from ‘links warehouses’ such as Trade Doubler or Affiliate Network, which primarily allow normal website owners to pick the adverts they put on their sites. These do all the liaison with the product providers; though the big cashback sites also have their own direct relationships, so they can offer a wider range of providers or earn more.

Cashback on the high street

It’s very likely that the next stage in cashback sites’ development is cashback when you shop on the high-street. One cashback site, Greasy Palm* is already doing this. Here you register your debit or credit card and when it’s used in store that generates cashback; the list of retailers is currently limited with only a few big names such as Superdrug, Halfords and Burtons. Yet this is likely to grow.

Use a cashback credit card too

To further increase your gain, you can earn up to 5% on top every time you spend by using a cashback credit card, although always ensure you pay it off in full so you’re not charged interest.

There’s no conflict between cashback sites and cashback cards, as when you spend money, whomever it’s spent with, the cashback credit card gives you some of it back. For full details read the Best Cashback Cards article.! Money saving expert cashback

I use the GMTV but there are loads of other sites here are some links.

Eco washing Balls

June 3, 2008

I have been using the eco washing balls for nearly a week now and so impressed by them.

I was very dubious about using them as couldn’t make out how the washing would come out clean and soft with no washing powders etc but it does!

You are meant to use three balls but I have been only using one and things have been coming out clean and soft even after tumble drying. I am well impressed with them and don’t think I will be going back to powder/tablets and softeners again also it is so much cheaper.

JML Nicer Dicer

May 19, 2008

This is a cool gadget for the kitchen I love it and wouldn’t be without it now.I love my gadgets and buy so many that like so many other people they end up at the bottom of the cupboard collecting dust
but this little gadget will be used a lot as I so hate chopping and dicing. :-(
Using this has made it so easy to have stir fry’s and soup making is now so easy I would recommend anyone who hates chopping or who can’t chop very well to get one,It also saves so much time as well.

You get two chopping blades one is for dicing the other chopping and they are easy clean, you also get two air tight containers so you can save your diced/chopped veg in.

When I first used it I did have some trouble with it but soon got the hang of it.

here’s a bit about it

Dice and chop evenly and faster than ever before. Using ‘Never dull’ blade technology the Nicer Dicer is safe, hygienic and efficient – perfect for salads, salsa, fruit salad, and even chips!

and a link so you can get yours, it is a bit pricey though but I needed some new knifes and in a way worked out cheaper. JML NICER DICER

Facebook

May 19, 2008
Like many people on here and on the net I am on facebook, I have been for sometime now and often think
about deleting my account as I get fed up with it and can’t see the point of it anymore.Yes it used to be fun but after a while it becomes very boring and tideus sending things back and forth
I tried to delete my account but you can’t, you can deactivate it which means all your details are still on there.
This can be a good thing incase you decide to go back to it, but if you know you dont what to then it is a bad thing.
Thinking about this got me searching the web on how to delete your account, I came up with a couple of sites but this one seems to be the best one and easiest one to follow. facebook deletion

Here is what the site says on how to delete

1. Delete everything that is related to your profile. That includes, but is not limited to: pictures, friends, messages, wall-posts, mini-feeds, news-feeds, posted items, interests, groups, applications, gifts….etc etc etc… Get the picture? EVERYTHING!

2. Contact the Facebook staff and request a permanent deletion of your account and that all information about you is fully erased. Of course, remember to tell them your user name.

Go ahead and try the following e-mail addresses:
privacy@facebook.com
comment-info-rt@facebook.com

info@facebook.com

You should get a response within a week.

3. Once you receive a reply from the Facebook staff confirming that your account is deleted, try logging in to Facebook as you used to. If you don’t get an invitation to reactivate your account it should now be permanently deleted.

I have not tried it but if I do I will post about it.
